Thurlestone is a village located on the south coast of Devon, England, in South Hams district. The village is situated on the A379 road, between Kingsbridge and Salcombe. It is a popular tourist destination, due to its stunning views of the surrounding area, its picturesque beach, and the nearby Thurlestone Rock.

The history of Thurlestone dates back to around the 12th century. It is believed that the village was founded by a group of fishermen who settled there. It has since grown into a small village with a population of around 500 people.

The village is known for its beautiful beach, which is backed by the Thurlestone Rock. This rock is a large formation of granite which rises out from the sea.
