Maidencombe is a small, peaceful village in the English county of Devon. Located between Teignmouth and Torbay, it's a beautiful and tranquil place, tucked away in the rolling hills of the South West of England. The name Maidencombe originates from the Anglo-Saxon language, and the village began life as a rural settlement in the early 12th century. Today, Maidencombe is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and attracts visitors from around the world.

The village's main street, The Street, is lined with charming cottages, many of which are Grade II listed. Many of these date back to the 18th century, and their pretty cob and stone walls, slate roofs and small gardens create a captivatingly traditional atmosphere.

Maidencombe is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with rolling hills, lush green fields, and a stunning coastline. A popular spot for rock-pooling, beachcombing and swimming, the area is a haven for wildlife spotting, with rare birds, seals and dolphins all regular visitors.
